I concur with keeping Versions simple, which is why I like the application
so much.
There are, however, a lot of features I wish Version had so I didn't have
to dig down into the command line quite so often. Instead of being able to
switch file comparison tool at any moment, I would much
of Versions user before Google groups becomes
entirely impossible to use.
I hope that gives some insight :)
All the best,

Okay.
What is your current setup wrt bug tracking, tickets, feature requests,
voting, etc.?

For support tickets, feature requests, etc., Get Satisfaction and
UserVoice are great (the best?) alternatives:
http://getsatisfaction.com/
http://uservoice.com/
Another alternative that works more like a forum, but still has some of
the voting features and such as the two above and that
tracker or a customer support system, we're pretty happy with the way
we have both set up.
We are just looking for something that can host a decent mailing list,
preferrably with an online forum as well :)

I actually don't think Versions support this. It's quite easily
accomplished on the command line and in SmartSVN, but Versions is a bit
limited with regards to merging in my experience.

+1 from me as well. I don't think or at least don't know if this is
planned.

I'd like to second this. Although there are a ton of features I'd like to
see available, I think the way they are implemented in Versions and how
the developers seem to take good time to let the features bake for the
right time to just feel right before releasing it, is awesome.
There's
If you renamed it in Finder, rename it again back to what it was and then
use Version's rename functionality. Versions doesn't have a detect rename
/ move feature yet, so you can't really do stuff like this through the
Finder.

Versions should also know that I have new files and offer me to add

Totally agree with this tho :)

. Then you never have to worry about committing this file.
I do the same thing. Works like a charm. That is, until you change the
skeleton file and forget to update the unversioned config file. ;)
