Our company policy is to work with all files directly from a central
server (that is not an SVN repository). We also have to keep the files
there free of any unnecessary files (.cache &.settings folders from
eclipse or .svn folders etc...)
So what I have to do at the end of the day is export my f
I've requested that they make drag&drop out of Versions be an on-the-
fly export command. That way we could simply drag files or folders
directly into a Transmit (ftp client) window and not worry about
uploading any of the .svn stuff.
They actually replied to that email so maybe it'll happen.

What if I already have a file under version control by accident but no
longer want it to be? Is there a way to set it back to Unversioned so
I can then ignore it.
Also, how does one create a "Tag" or "Branch"?
The Help File says:

Any idea when they're going to implement copy/paste ... or add that
little tip to the help file?

Often (but not all the time) when I rename a file via finder, in
versions I see the old file name marked as missing and the new
filename as unversioned then when I try to commit I get either out of
date errors or file not under version control errors or some other
error about the file not existing
I decided to check out a few others svn clients.
I tried svnX which at first glance was good. But later I realized it
lacked features in the gui for renaming, ignoring, and a few other
things.
So when I went to the command line to ignore some files SVN tells me
it's too old to work with my worki
I'd also like to know if it's possible to use a local working
directory with a local repository and at the end of the day somehow
sync up the local revisions with a remote repository(through ssh)

The last time I used versions I had it on my 2nd larger monitor. That
monitor died. Now I only have my short laptop screen to use.
When I click the Select button next to where it says REV HEAD I get a
very tall modal window where I can select a revision at the top half
and see changed paths in th
This also means I cannot click on the SELECT HEAD button so whenever I
click on my repository bookmark I always see whatever revision I last
manually selected (rev 138 when my last commit should have been 157)

I'm having the same thing happen on my network. I emailed versions

I've got a project with about 1 gigabyte of pdf files, 10 megabytes of

The repository and working copy are both on my laptop.

doing an Export takes more than 15 minutes. Why? What can I do abou

Hello
I copied my project's /trunk/ directory to /branches/ and named that copy
/mobile/
Selected /trunk/, held option key while dragging to /branches/ folder and
then gave it a name.
Now I have:
/trunk/
/branches/mobile/
But when I try to look at the history of files in the branch (history i
