Got this from a good friend of Charlie. He's been a VFB member for
several years and has been battling cancer for the last couple of years.
Charlie has been a participant at Sow Bug for many years and those of
you who have been to Sow Bug will remember Charlie as the big, and I do
mean big, g
That would be cool, Tony. A nice tribute to a good guy and major contributor to
the sport. Good thing they turned the lights down for that one as I don't think
there was a dry eye in the house.

To round out the Mike Lawson story...
Mike has a section in his Spring Creek presentation (to support his
last book effort), in which he describes his entry of a no-hackle dun
in the Jackson Hole One-Fly contest.
Entrants to this high-profile annual event are only allowed to use one
fly, period.
Just wanted to pop in and resurrect this squashed, bloody thread to
make a comment.
First of all, no disrespect to Jimmy, who I admire greatly as a
community contributor, a family man, and a tribute to Texas.
That said, I think Jimmy is way off-base with his reply. I need to
respond to that in
