I got some from Dakota Angler in SD and was amazed as it looks, feels and is much like the tan Vintage DK yarn I buy by the skein at the local yarn shop. They also have a great light pink Vintage DK that makes fine flies as well. Glad someone is making it in smaller amounts than a 200 gm skein.

Look at the Faruk Ekich bobbin. I like it and the Norbobbin, each having advantages. Norbobbin is automatic but you do have to remember to put a clamp on the thread or hang it or the thread sucks in. The Ekich bobbin has the big advantage of accepting spools just as they come from the store, no
