Micro mark also sells a great dubbing teaser.
It is a plastic handle with the stainless steel wire and they sell
replacement wire.

The nearest Bass Pro to me is in Calgary, Alberta or possibly one south in

Gary,
The Micromark tweezers should work really well on bigger beads, but
the dimple looks too big for the size beads Nev is using.
Off-list, I suggested to Nevile the bead nabber tweezers, which are a
couple of bucks cheaper than Micromarks tweezer:
I searched at Amazon and was amazed at the many choices:

I did not know there were so many options to hold
You can also put a cad of rubber cement or bees wax on the jaws of the
tweezers to help hold the bead.

I use tweezers with a very fine point, which allows me to pick them with one
side in the hole, the other side on the outside of the bead. I then insert the
hook point into the bead hole, release the tweezers and pull them out. I use
very small beads, routinely tying pheasant tails on 18 to 22
Another thing that can work in a pinch with small beads is to simply lick your
finger and push it over the larger hole of the bead. It will stick to the wet
finger, then bring the point of the hook into the smaller hole and slip the
bead on. This is the Wet Willie method, and works
That's exactly how I do it, and it works great, Chuck

Actually, I do that too. And I do all the hooks and beads at one time. I
find I save a lot of time and I get in the groove (no pun intended) of
