b) IIRC, Rage Fury support is sort of available if you use the Mach64 driver
from XFree86. I'd highly recommend upgrading to XFree86 4.0.2, since there
are some major and really neat changes to the ATI driver code.

I'm doing wrong here. I'm pretty sure that the tdfx module in
XFree86-4.0.2 does not support Xv, but the command I use to start XawTV should disable
that, shouldn't it?

Don't buy an nVidia card, they're even more CPU- and bandwidth-hungry.

post-production can be a bit of a bear. You'd have to also use an external tuner,
such as a VCR, since the DC10+ only has a composite and an S-Video input.

zoran driver with.
