With YouTube you can have both, centralized videos and you can post

Plus, anyone can post a YouTube video on their blog too.

obviously. the general audience of Internet TV are not creating content or into blogging.some who create content (not nec 'works' but just random clips of anythingness) dont care about open distribution architecture
I bet there will be a lot more crossover now too, moving from amateur kids uploading clips of themselves jumping their skateboard, to maybe getting better shots, then maybe deciding to throw a plot in here and there, and eventually enjoying it so much that they want to focus more energy on
Which raises the question... how do jumpcut, eyespot and others actually do re-mixing with flash? Do they create lots of smaller clips out of your uploaded clips or is there some means in flash to clone parts of an flv?

Yeah, that works and I've done it (using Sorenson Squeeze instead of iSquint since I'm on PC).I guess I should have rephrased my complaint, because the process to reuse or remix Youtube videos is unnecessarily convoluted and pisses me off to the point that I don't even bother any more.

I don't much like the idea that YouTube tries to centralize everything on their site.
One of the things I like about vlogging and the whole Internet TV thing is that it is very decentralized without any barriers to entry or consumption.
