Hi! I am really not following what happens. i use the last version of FCP but whenever i export for a different codec i always use compressor and i just tested with hdv exported to iPod and it worked alright. Did you tried with the compressor? Or do you have some specific reason not to use

Hi! I would like to add that presently the white macbook they are selling has the same chipset/cpu than the new ones, because they renovated it. so you just get stuck with the old design but get everything else and the firewire (400) port.
