Various wireless manufacturers make a brick which is a transmitter
that plugs on to a mic via the XLR connector and turns most any mic
into a wireless mic. Some even provide the Phantom power required by
many condenser microphones.

Cut Pro if you
record a simple clap or something that ties image to sound, like
the slates they used to use before video brought sound and image

Robert et al., write in favor of shooting HD and I'll concur.
Here's my summary of reasons for my own preference to shooting HD,
even when the deliverable is 320x240 iPod or web video.
1. Shooting in an HD format like HDV is more future-proof that SD

is only 1/3 of the equation.
You still need access to marketing to build an audience, and access
to distribution. The internet today provides the missing pieces, it
fuels word-of-mouth as well as provides an economical distribution

What's the difference between FX1 and FX7?
The differences are basically the sensors and the lens, the FX7 is
smaller and has a longer lens, but sports smaller chips, with
slightly inferior low-light performance. A feature of the FX7 is the
ability to shoot digital stills
