i found the article on asante's site about the cards that don't work

New face here. Just picked up a couple of IIci's for play learning.
Adam, have you considered something like QuickKeys (haven't used it) or
Tempo II Plus? The latter was more a scripter than macro recorder.

Give me a day or two to look it up, but IIRC, the IPX and Mac serial ports
are for all intents and purposes, the same. I know I was able to hook my IPX
up to my PC with a Mac-to-PC serial cable.
