Erin, You may be right...we'll see. The biggest factor was the likelihood that we will be downsizing from our current home and space and 2 car garage and large driveway to a smaller home where I'd be unlikely to have a good covered place for the Bug. Also when I started restoring it I thought

Erin/NQ, You are so right and on point. When I got my Bug in Aug. 98; I knew nothing never having owned one before. This list was a godsend as i expect I asked no question that someone else had not asked and had answered. It was like a brotherhood/sisterhood of people who had this unique bond.
