I failed to mention too that Viton fuel line is used on methanol-powered
racing bikes. Marine supply places sell a gray fuel line that is
alcohol-resistant and even more per foot from the places I saw online. I
didn't realize the government was mandating alcohol supplements in the fuel.

I'm guessing when it comes to ethanol resistant fuel line, one is going to
have to spend some coin to buy some really good stuff. As a Stihl Chainsaw
mechanic, one of the issues with the fuel lines that were German-made when
they used to import saws before the new facility was built in

Have you seriously checked the price of diesel lately???
My calculations show that it is 12% above the cost of unleaded.
(here in arkansas)
If I drive a prius and get 50 mpg on unleaded

at he moment.
It costs about $3.28/foot if you buy 3 meters from
Volks,

a copy of the VW factory workshop bulletin (a Ratgeber they call it) for
the VW police model's special 12-volt system, M 613.
I've lost it in a hard-drive crash. And my print of it got water-damaged.

Okay, its a niche market but theres a neat VW Type 2 minipumper for sale
by a small German fire department. Its a 1970 with less than 23,000 km (!)
on the odometer and its a first owner. The shipping shouldnt run over
$500, but thats variable.
