I believe when you set up a rule to move a message that there is a checkbox to Delete from Inbox or something like that and you have to check that. If you don't I believe whatever label is applied to your message, but it also remains in your Inbox. You will have to log into your gmail account

Hi Alan, Apple has made it very easy to delete single songs, entire albums or the music from an entire artist from your device. All you have to do is open the Music app, select your view, e.g. Songs, Albums, Artist etc. then find what you want to delete and flick down or app with a single finger.
