To add voices to the rotor, you need to go to settings, general, accessibility,
VoiceOver, rotor.
Then you will be able to add rotor voices.

HI. not sure, but it sounds like you might need to add language to the Roter.

Some of them can. You can find these changable tones in Settings, under Sounds.

I have been told to use the rotor and make Alex the reader for this book "The

Hi All,
Anyone know if the default notification tone can be changed?

I’ve been having the same issues. I just figured Siri is just being stupid.. A
network issue can be the case too. Andrew

Do you have a good solid internet connection? Not sure how that works
over here on IOS, but coming from Android I've seen Google now not work
if there wasn't a good internet connection. Try it with wifi on and off
so you're tapping into wifi and your mobile data connection.

Hey all,
Every time I press the home button to start siri, I don’t hear the sound for
siri to start up.
I have tried to turn off siri, and restart it again with no luck.
I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem?

I expect there will be a hardware update this fall, maybe it will be in October
rather than in September with the iPhones, but since it is only 3 months away I
would wait especially since we should definitely know more by August as far s
what Apple will probably reveal is concerned.
There are a lot of things I'd like to see in a hardware update but the
rumor mill doesn't have one in the pipeline. Also I think everything
they suggested in the software can be supported by the current
hardware. So my uneducated guess is that there's no update
forthcoming.

Was debating on buying an Apple Watch. Now I'm curious, do you think it will be
a hardware update to this item in the fall, as well as the large software
update?

Hi all,
I have recently become a little infuriated by a situation involving the reading

I am finding that, despite the fact that I am tapping and holding down the link
in order to get it into the Facebook app, very often it's going into
I read a review a few months ago on the various digital personal
assistants. It was interesting in that it pointed out that Apple's
approach is to make it easier to use your device, which is why Siri is
so good at launching apps and interacting with the default Apple apps on
your iPhone.
Hi Chip,
iFixIt reported these water-resistant improvements shortly after the iPhone 6S
and 6S Plus were released and I always thought Apple was quietly doing this to
see what sort of reports and returns they get regarding water damage throughout
the year before maybe this fall they make an
If you can get by until the September it will definitely be a good thing. We
are only 3 months away from when Apple will announce the new phones this year
and that would be the time to decide if you want to go with something like the
iPhone SE which was just released recently and which is the
Thank you so much. I will get started on this, and I will hold off on getting a
new phone for now.

Most of the app is accessible except for the channel list. The guide is okay
and the channel can be somewhat determined by the content. Hopefully the
channel list will become accessible.

Several months ago I attempted to make use of the Sling app for gaining TV
access. The one thing that held me back was the inability to access listings
for the various channels. Is this access available in or on the current
generation Apple TV?

You also cannot read Audible books with Voice Dream Reader as they are DRM
(digital rights management) protected. Only open/unprotected material like
audio books in MP3 or M4A format can be read and for eBooks it's all sorts of
format like ePub, PDF, txt etc.

No, you can't use VDR to read iBooks. I never was successful buying my books
from within the iBooks app. What I do is buy the book in iTunes then when I
open iBooks the book is there. iBooks may be read with any voice to which VO
has access.

They do have quite a selection of free iBooks so you could always try it

Hi.
I have bought audible books via the pc but I've never yet got round to

Once you have a book can you use something like Voice dream reader to
