Hi Mike, That is not normal behavior at all. Which voice are you using? What font size do you have set? You may just need to reboot the phone by holding the power and home buttons for 8 or 10 seconds and then wait for it to come back on. I also have an SE and have not experienced this with Tom

Hi All, I'm running iOS13.3.1 on an SE iPhone. I just went into my contacts to add a contact and noticed that for each entry VoiceOver is announcing initials for all contacts. I opened a couple of contacts to see if any of the entries had initials and there are none. I've never heard this

Yes the assistive touch feature is ment for people with poor motor skills, but it is also coool because it gives the newer phones without home buttons a home button. You just double tap the asssistive touch button on the bottom of the screen or whereever you have placed it and then a menu comes
