If you were to just stay with the same OS and apps all the time without
updating
You'd go no where quickly,
Infact it wouldn't take long for your apps to stop working on the older os

Without the trialing of new apps or new os you'll go backwards

of no conflicts between voice control and VoiceOver, Voice Control will

Hi alex,
First, check your final page of apps to see if apps are still being downloaded.
If it seems like all of your apps are there, try restarting your phone, and
then try updating again.

If you changed it for Bookshare, you only need to change it in Voice Dream
Reader.
Open Voice Dream Reader.
At the bottom right, open Settings.
Select Content Sources.
ON Bookshare, double tap on settings, and update your account information with
the new password.
That should solve it.
People should think about this carefully. If an update breaks you have no way
to go back to the previous version.

Hello, I tried in a while back on my iPhone SE and I had no problem. Without

I think described images is a feature on older phones, but screen recognition
is not and if I remember correctly there is no Voiceover Recognition section on
phones like the iPhone 8, the describe images is somewhere else.

You definitely get better results if you wear headphones, in my opinion Voice

If you updated to watchOS 7.2 on your Apple Watch,. close the whats new

I would suggest based on my experiences that you use iTunes and windows and
make a encrypted backup.
Then when you install when you restore you Will end up with a message at on
your iPhone that says swipe up to upgrade.

This was the case for me. Turning it off didn't really turn it off, and i had
to add it to the roter and then take it out of the roter for each app. What a
pain in the butt!

I had to have my phone replaced last week due to a fault. I’ve restored from a

want to upgrade to the latest iOS. When I try to do this, I’m told the restore
from backup hasn’t completed. Is there anything I can do
Hi, list.
I get an error message from Bookshare when I try to add a title to Voice
Dream Reader from within Voice Dream Reader.
One of the reason for this is probably that I had changed my password in
Bookshare.
What should I tell Bookshare in order to make it realize that I have changed

Hi,
Can Voice Control and VoiceOver be used at the same time or does one need to
wear headphones to do this? Thank you.
Take care,

Same thing here with the same solution with my wife. Actually, rebooting the
watch did not remedy it. In fact, I actually went through the process of
unpairing and re-pairing my watch which didn't fix it either.

If Describe Images was not a feature supported by your phone then you would not
expect it to be available under the Rotor too?
Do you have Screen Recognition available in your Rotor as well?
Confusing!

I think that Sieghard may be right; I don’t even have voice recognition under
voiceover settings on my iPhone 8 but I did turn image

where I don’t wish to have that information conveyed.
Thanks for everyone’s help
Hi Debbie,
On my old SE 1st generation phone if you go to Settings / Accessibility /
Voiceover / Rotor and open Rotor, now swipe all the way through, Describe
Images, and Reorder Describe Images, are the last 2 options.
Stay safe and take care. Mike.

If you go into Settings, Accessibility, Voiceover and VoiceOver
If you scroll up with two fingers, you will find an OK button which will take
you out of that screen and return you to the watch face.

I understand exactly what you’re saying. However, some people have commented

the night sky issue was not resolved until it was turned off in the Rotor.
This may be a bug of course which lead me to question the
Same happened for me, I turned off Voiceover and my wife was able to tap the OK

Hi all,
I had the same problem. It definitely is a bug. You should be able to flick
right to the OK button but you can't. I called Apple care and spent 2 hours on
the phone trying to figure it out and couldn't do it either. After all this, I
found it myself by trial and error.
I reported it
I just tested this out and apparently if you turn on Image Description in
Voiceover Recognition this will turn it on for all apps. The Describe
Images option on the rotor controls its function per individual application.
If I'm wrong someone please correct me.
Stay safe and take care. Mike.
If you go into Settings, Accessibility, Voiceover and VoiceOver Recognition you
will find it there.
Not sure what its relationship is with the Rotor, does the Rotor override the
setting here?
