Cloud is selected at the bottom of the screen. After you've done that and
refreshed, any books you've selected but not yet downloaded will appear. You
double tap on the not downloaded books and they will download.

Kindle often has sales which I know from my wifes use of her Kindle. I

Not really sure about the difference between the calendar and a reminder
and, for all I know, this can be done with reminders.

TV Guide will show that, but you will probably have to select channels for
favorites or you will be flipping screens. There's only so much that will fit
on one screen.
