Hello, No you do not need the meter to read the freestyle libra sensors. All you need is the freestyle libra link app on your iPhone. It will read the sensor just fine. The app is very useable. Greg Wocher > On Feb 19, 2019, at 11:28 PM, Donna wrote: > > I would like some clarification..It

Hi. I have been using the 14 day free style libre system for about 3 months now. I can tell you that the iPhone app is very accessible. You do not need the reader at all.! I did not purchase the reader because it is not useful for blind users. I am in the review stage for my insurance provider

I would like some clarification..It is my understanding that the Freestyle Libre scanner/reader is needed. The scanner reads the blood glucose level from the sensor & the result is transmitted to the iPhone app via bluetooth. Hopefully, someone who uses the Freestyle Libre will chime in.

Hi Kathy, This is referring I believe to the freestyle libre sensor. For Dora outlier did a couple of podcasts. Generally, when your doctor prescribes it, they prescribe the reader, which is useless to blind people, and the sensors. So what we need is just the sensor, skip the reader. If
