I did a lot of tweaking and got the westminster chimes to work again but
the chime gets cut off on the hour time and the 45 minute time, such as
it will when it reaches 1-45 pm. Otherwise it works. I don't
understand why part of the chime gets cut off.
I have the Se20 phone.

I can't answer that question as my battery is poor and drains very quickly
anyway. I unfortunately have to keep it plugged up most of the time.

I allowed all notifications, but when I removed the app from the app switcher,
I heard nothing at 11:00, so I launched the app again

If you let it turn on notifications, it plays even when the phone is locked.
When it opens, it askes if you want to allow notifications.
Then, when you go through the setup , the last thing says you have to allow
notifications
to go into
the notification settings and turn on sounds for it.
