the treadmill. It will not work if the phone is in a case on your belt. It must
detect movement which I learned the hard way after
I can't remember exactly how I got past this screen. I just tapped until it
had something and went on. I was just interested in the number of steps.
Today I went into settings and had no trouble at all entering height,
weight, step length, daily goal, etc. What I had originally entered was
iTreadmill? used that on the 3GS, not transferred it to 4S, so don't know
if it is still about; but it was good.

Be careful of iTreadmil, It hasn't had an update in about 3 years.
I havn't tested it on iOS8 but on iOS7 it had isssues. You need to have the
screen unlocked to use it, but you could turn on the screen blanking feature to
prevent accedental taps. When this was enabled in iOS7 iTreadmill
I use iTreadmill very successfully. It works well with music playlists as
well. It also tracks calories. I do not know if it has been updated to work
with IOS 8 as I have not updated as of yet so I am still using the latest
IOS 7 on my 5S.

I recently started using an app called moves. I believe it was free and it is
pretty accessible. You just put it in your pocket and let it record not only
your steps but the amount of time you've walked the calories you've burned and
one other thing I can't remember at the moment. Smile.
