If you are using iMap, then I would sign in to my account on the computer, and delete them that way. If your not using iMap, then I am afraid there is no other way to do it. All though you could get sited help, turn voice over off, and have them select all of them then delete them. HTH

I'm not aware of a setting. This is just the default behavior, and I'm not sure you can change it. There are ways to force the deletion of messages from the Gmail server, but I've never used them before. I'd suggest going to Google to search. There's a lot of information out there on how Gmail
