Hey there, I got everything done until one of my ringtones are actually in
my phone, but here comes the problem:
I can only get ONE of the tones in the phone at one time.
I try syncing all of them together, buy only 1 of them will be displayed
and synced into the phone in the iTunes display.

Hi Sieghard. Putting them in the tones folder works even better. I didn’t think
about doing that. And because it’s likely no other

Hi, I was recently told by a person at Apple Accessibility that Apple was no
longer going to support ringTones that were not purchased from the app store.

Hello, I have my own ring tones, that I created, and recently, I've been able
to get them to my mac, and sync to my iPhone 5s running iOS 8.1.1.
I am running Yosemite on the Mac, and the latest
I certainly love to have some personal ring tones and wouldn't be too happy if
Apple decides to play Big Brother on this one!

Hi Don,
You didn’t say whether you are using a PC/Windows or a Mac so I assume you are
using a PC. There a couple of headings in this email which you should be able
to go to with the “h” quick nav key provided you don’t use plain text as your
format.
Assumption and the Tones folder

Hi!
As normal nicely laid out!
But assuming you’ve made your .M4R’s somewhere else and you do not already have
a tones folder in your home directory, using the automatically add to iTunes
folder puts the tones into iTunes ready to use [so no need to press enter on
any]
And will create a tones
Hi, I was recently told by a person at Apple Accessibility that Apple was no

If this is true, then the question becomes, what does it mean. Does it mean
that they will simply not help you work out how to do this? Or,
for myself and a few more for a
friend about a week ago.

I think that person did not know what they were talking about. If the only
ringtones you could get on an iPhone are those you have to buy from the iTunes
Store

Hi Neil,
Using the automatically add to iTunes folder works fine, I usually just copy my
ringtones straight
Just because Apple doesn't support something doesn't necessarily mean it can't
be done. It just means they would rather you buy the tones directly from the
iTunes Store rather than sync unpaid tones via iTunes to the phone.
