Not from the iOS device. You have to get the file, as a brf file on to the SD card that you put in the Orbit Reader. If you load a txt file on the SD card, it will read in computer braille. So you need a program like Braille Blaster, which is free, to save the file as BRF in whatever grade of

As far as I can tell, the Orbit is here to stay. I personally love it. If they stop making them in a year, I will still be happy since it costs so much less than other displays and if it dies; I'll start saving up for whatever comes next. But, I cannot say if you should or should not buy it.
