There are definitely times when screen recognition can be useful, I recently
got another robot vacuum and the app is pretty much totally inaccessible
without using screen recognition. While it’s good that Voiceover offers this
feature, this is something that should not be necessary. Developers
Hello,
Go into Settings, Accessibility and Voiceover.
>From here navigate to Voiceover Recognition and double tap.
Double tap here.
Make sure Screen Recognition is on.
Now swipe through this screen until you reach Apply to Apps.
Double tap here and Voiceover should say Apply to Apps heading.
xt but with screen recognition turned on I could.
It is not something which you most likely need a lot, but it is a good tool to
have available.

after rebooting the phone, do the 2 finger quadruple tap and you should find it in the quick settings if you left it turned on in VoiceOver Recognition. Then it might show up in the settings ... this is not one of Apple's better attempts at a feature.Richard, USA.“What we think or what we know or

But, while I had it activated I learned exactly why I had it turned off!

Hi,
I suggest putting Screen Recognition in VoiceOver Quick Settings instead of the
rotor. That way, it's still easy to access but much harder to turn on by
accident.

Have a question about quick settings. How do you access it to turn on screen
recognition? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a gesture to do so. Yes, if you don’t
turn it back to another setting on your router it will turn on and off very
very easily. I like the idea of putting it in quick settings

The only thing that comes to mind & is my experience with such behavior; Is it
possible that You are not turning the rotor off of screen recognition after
turning it on while in an app that needs screen recognition to function?

Hi,
I found it makes a difference with the Traeger app at least. It takes away all
the unlabeled buttons and may make it easier to use?

I think it is important to note that screen recognition should under no
circumstances be on by default as it makes thing worse and in many cases
strange in many apps which are accessible as Donna said.
Even in Facebook it may give
