Subject: Setting up a new Pop3 account
I hope to get some straight forward info regarding how to set up a Pop3
email account
on my iPhone 3GS. In the past, with a couple of exceptions, the only
responses I have received
have been to praise the superiority of Imap over
screen so you don't have to fill that out again.
Hope this helps,
Sieghard

The bottom line is that the iPhone tries to figure your protocol out
based on your email provider, but it may guess wrong or you may want

Hi, I'm curious what Google has told you. I did a search for Pacbell.net
pop3 settings, and I get many results. One of them is below.
