: Voices on IPhone 7
Once again, I did what you suggest but there were only the Fred, Samantha, and
the two Siri voices listed. Believe me I tried several times. So I powered the
phone off and back on and voila! They were all there however there was no
option to hear a sample. That was not critical
both heard them and
knew what voices she wanted.
One mor question about the 7. How do you do the re-boot since the home button
is no longer a physical control?
Thanks, Marie

did you go into the VoiceOver settings, then Speech?
There you will have the default voice, Punctuation, then rotor voices.
You will have to select and download the voices one at a time.
Especially Alex since it is almost a gigabyte.

I did go into the Speech/voice option but the only voices showing are Fred and
Samantha but perhaps the other two have not completed the download as they are
both large files. I did not think of this earlier so I will just try to be
patient and my friend also

A friend just got a new IPhone 7 and we can not find a way to get the voices
for voiceover the way we did it with the 6S. She restored from a backup of the
6S which had both the Alex voice and the AVA voice so how do we get them
activated on the new phone?
