Google doesn't actually use folder
Archived messages go into all mail. However if you turn that off, then
they are deleted, moved to Trash where they live for up to 30 days.

The archive messages should go into an archive folder.
As Raul says, every message you have in Gmail is in the All Mail folder.
This can be useful when looking for a message, but you don't know what
folder it might be in.
