Mandate, I think that's a bit strong. I just spoke with my husband's
sister who writes court reports as a part of her work. She said that double
spacing is not mandated. In other words, a single or double space after a
period ultimately makes no difference and is probably more legacy structure
Place the phone on the table in front of you. Now place your fingers on the
phone's touch screen. You should notice how the shape of all 4 fingers on each
hand kind of forms a V or think of it as a sea gull. Hope that helps.

I think both methods work, place a finger in the right area, once you know
that; then flick either way to hit it right on.

Well, just one short, seems it's off the bottom of the screen and one more
flick would get you to it.
So, and someone did suggest this, put the cleartext somewhere nearer,
though agree, too close has it's risk; I've blown away a perfectly good and
lengthy message with one before now. I
I don't have dropbox, have no real clue how it works or why I might want it,
Access Note will work without it I assume, anyway that was what I read.
I bought the app but at the moment not sure how I am going to use it when
and if life settles down maybe I will give it more thought but as I
Fair point. I didn't think of it as I rarely use head phones. I'll use an ear
peace for phone calls because I need my hands free so that's why it never
occurred to me.

Yes, I am using less than 2 GB of my iCloud space, only set it up in
December because I did not want to use too much either, then my husband lost
his phone at the hospital and did not have I cloud, in order to give him
back some things, I set mine up and we restored his phone from that, then he
I agree with you, I used the Optacon for years in my work, have the sore
shoulder to prove I learned to use computers with the Optacon. There are
lot of weird fonts, symbols and conventions to print and the only way I
really understood that was after I got the Optacon in 1976. I could write
Hi Joe and everyone else, the discussion of Braille Touch, while
generating a lot of traffic, is very much on topic for the list. In
fact, as others have pointed out, that's what this list is for. You can
set filters to weed out Braille Touch discussions, or wait it out and
eventually it will
Hi, this involves using the app switcher. To do what you want, follow
the below steps.
1. Launch the app you want.
2. Do whatever you need to do in the app.
3. Press Home once to put you on the home screen.
4. Press Home twice quickly to put you in the app switcher.
5. Touch the bottom left
Hi Rose, you don't have to write in uncontracted Braille with Access Note, but
if you want to use any of the Braille shortcuts, then you need to toggle
contracted Braille off for them to work.
Dropbox is a cloud-based storage system. I'd recommend it, because what's nice
is that you can put
I agree with this Lauren, Vizwiz is a great initiative, but sometimes I have
had responses from web workers that are unhelpful, and a few that are just
plane ridiculous. At other times, it's very good. So if Taptapsee can exercise
some sort of training and quality control, they may have an edge
You and me both, but it’s a no go if VO does not speak through the earpiece, as
i am often in crowded situations, and don’t want strangers hearing anything on
the other end.

My thought is that these apps that depend on crowd sourcing are inconsistent
and unreliable. There was a web CAPTCHA solving tool called Solona, which
was dependent on one sighted individual and ceased when the person either
died or became seriously ill. Also, sometimes folks have a good idea,
My experiences with VizWiz have been similarly hit-and-miss but I've
noticed the accuracy has improved in recent times. You seem to get
answers from at least a couple web workers for the same query. And of
course you get IQ Engine-generated answers in addition to any answers
from humans.

Yes, Keeper is an iOS app and it is secure. It's also very accessible
and vo friendly. The customer support is good too. I had occasion to
need it when I purchased the upgrade and found them responsive and
helpful.
Having said that, the app is very usable without the upgrade.

Hi guys, was just curious as I just got my iPhone about two weeks ago now. Is
there a way to remove a favorite out there anymore? Just curious, I've got a
lot of the other things but this one stumps me. Thanks again and take care.
Also, is there a way to get rid of ringtones you might not want
Marisa, I've got one I'll hav ego look at the model number when I've got a pair
of eyes, but it's an Lg,something, but it is bluetooth, works with voiceover,
and the phone, and has two ear buds that fit in your ear. I paid about $75 or
so for it, but it also has a feature that allows it to
Hi all!
I was wondering if there's a way to check the bio of another person while using
the native Twitter app for iOS?
I don't see any option to do that, so it sometimes becomes difficult to decide
if you wanna follow a person or not...
So, please let me know if there's a way to do that.
