Hello all you knowledgeable people,
So for work, I've been given an iPhone X. As you know, the only ways
to unlock the phone are through a passcode (which I find obnoxious at
the best of times) or Face ID, which I frankly felt was apple's way of
solving a problem that most people didn't find
Great!

I would agree that Apple Pay would be brilliant if more locations accepted it.
I suspect by your language that you are somewhere in the UK which seems light
years ahead of the USA in number of locations accepting Apple Pay and in the
processing of credit cards in general. I'm always
You know, I hadn't thought of instances like riding a bike or wearing
gloves, so I'll concede that point haha. I also didn't know that it
actually gets better over time, and that it somehow tracks attempts
that have been confirmed through a password. I do have it lying flat
on my bed next to me
Hello,
I sleep with my phone all the time. I never have any trouble unlocking it when
I get up. The conveniences for me are unspeakable
I was able to set up my phone without any difficulties at all. I am totally

I personally would never go back to

There are certainly good use-cases. For example, when doing something which
occupies one's hands (say riding a bicycle, perhaps a tandem as the
"pusher") the combination of voice and face are quite

The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.

While we're talking Face ID, I have an additional question. I will be
upgrading in about a month to a 10 series phone, or whatever the
newest is, and have been wondering about something. I sleep with a
CPAP machine for help breathing over night. I don't think the phone
could recognize my face when
Hello,
Their will be no issues with facial hair. I do not shave every day and have no
issues whatsoever. Regarding to the mask, I am unsure of that. I wear sun
glasses and have no problems with that. Of course that is not a mask so I am
unsure.

Sometimes the orientation gets off if the battery is wearing out. That happened
to me after about a year. The second battery is still doing well for about 18
months now. However, Neato suggests replacing the battery after about 6 months
“under normal use”- whatever that is

I have had the D85- the model for pets- for about 3 years now. If an
accessible connected model is going to be available shortly though- I’d
certainly wait and get that one. I used the Bed, Bath and Beyond 20% off coupon
to get $100 off and just paid $400 for mine. One of the best purchases
I use F-Secure Freedome VPN.
Works well but not free.
App is free but one has to subscribe to use the VPN service.
A 7 day trial is available.
Very simple to configure.

You need to set up Apple Pay in the Wallet app.
I use Apple Pay all the time in restaurants and pubs etc.
I rarely need my phisical credit card these days.
I simply double tap home from the lock screen and wallet/apple pay is
ready and I point the phone to the bank terminal (the device where you
