I think it would be a good idea to cut Apple a bit of slack until a few weeks
after iOS 15 is released. I am often first to point out how stupid SIRI can
sometimes be especially after being around for such a long time and compared to
Google Assistant and Alexa which are both a lot younger.

I’m kind of curious about this case of yours Sieghard. Do you keep the phone in
it all of the time or just slip it into this case when you’re taking it out and
about with you? Is it easy to slip in and out of the case? Could you give us
the name of the case, or even better yet, give us a link
With luck the new curvature of the phone after sitting on it will hug the side
of your face when you're on a call!

If you take a screenshot you then have an image which at best you can read by
doing some sort of OCR on it.
Anyways, calls do not drop out of recent call list, but they are not visible
after you have 100 calls in the list, but if you delete calls they show up
again.

Yes I put mine on a wireless charger, but if I want to use it for any reason, I
can use my earbuds. The earbuds work better for phone calls rather than for
checking weather, messages, etc.

I actually disagree. Often I ask Alexa something that it doesn’t know the
answer to, but Siri will get the answer without issue. So I’ve always seen Siri
as more competent than Alexa.

I don't think Arnold specified which iPhone he has and for MagSafe you need at
least an iPhone 12 so not point in spending the money for a MagSafe charger if
he has an iPhone 11 or older.

This is something you have to check on the Otterbox website, most case
manufacturers indicate whether the different models they make are compatible
with wireless charging.

It sounds like the original questioner needs to check with the friend to make
sure that Siri has internet access.
That is the sound and message when Siri cannot get to the server; which may be
a problem of the past once iOS 15 is out.
And, I find Alexa and Siri about equally smart or stupid
One must also keep in mind that in many other countries, Canada included, the
household setting and sharing of a prime membership are not available, at least
not yet.

I want to clear up some confusion about the supposed terrible battery

Mini has a battery capacity of 2200 MAH with 15 hours of video

Well, I don't think an iPhone will be damaged if it's in your back pocket and
you sit on it. Plus, I think you'll notice it pretty quickly once you sit down,
so you can retrieve it before it takes too much of a prolonged strain. All that
