Hello everyone,
I just have a quick question, or two, regarding my Apple watch.
Is there a way to set it, or a way to enable it, so that the watch won't
speak, if the face is touched?
Or, just if I move my arm in a certain way?
This always seems to be happening to me. Which in most cases
No none that I know of.

Hello,
To achieve the results you want launch the Watch App on your iPhone.
Go into Display and Brightness. Ensure that Wake on Wrist Raise Is turned off.
Now exit this screen and go to Accessibility. Choose VoiceOver and make sure
Speak on Wrist Raise Is turned off too.
Hope this helps.
Hi Terri,
Turn off Speak on Wrist Raise either in VoiceOver Settings on the watch or in
the Watch app on your phone. Then VoiceOver will only speak when you wake the
watch.
Best,
Anna

Actually, sending a photo as an attachment to a message is quite easy using the
hand gestures. But my friend (she just got an iPhone about 2 weeks ago) wants
to do this with verbal instructions.
I called Apple Support to ask for suggestions; I was told it was not possible
using Siri but if
So, Bill, using voice control, can be done. If your friend turns on voice
control, she can tell voice control to go left go right or tap that and it will
activate whatever the cursor is on. I have a friend that is currently using
this right now to navigate his phone until he gets comfortable
I am sure some will disagree, but e-Speak to me sounds horrible and it's
definitely not a natural sounding voice,.
In any case, you are stuck with what Apple offers and in iOS 17 there are to my
knowledge no new voices. There is still Eloquence and all the others like Ava,
Samantha, Tom etc.
Hello. I sent the following message to Apple Accessibility. I would
encourage others, if you have encountered the same issue, to also send
a message so it can be addressed in a future update. I got the
standard confirmation reply that they got my message, and would
forward my feedback to the
Hi all

No bugs so far but have noticed with 16.6 devices seem to get warm. Not to
the point of scorching hot but slightly warm. Has anyone else seem such
behavior running 16.6

The following information is important for all
First of all, after an update there might be stuff going on in the background
for a day or two which may make it seem like more battery is used and the heat
thing could very well be connected.
Secondly, have you turned off your device for a few minutes after the update
and then powered it on
I've noticed this on my iPhone 14.

Hi all
iPhone XR and iPad 6gen
When I was running Linux I used eSpeak and got to like it! When I moved back to
Windows I now use the Nuance voices on all of my devices. I figured my aging
ears deserve a treat. I use Zoey on my PC, Ava on my iPhone and Siri 5 on my
Apple Watch.

Hi.
I'm attempting to exchange a defective SSD. Sabrent wants pictures of it. I
have no idea how to do that. I'd like to know what to do to make them happy.
Thanks in advance.

Well, I kind of use a tripod so that way it holds the phone study and then I go to the Camera app and then I go to photo and then voiceover starts babbling on about zero faces. If it sees faces, then I would switch to the back camera in order to focus on the hard drive and then press the take

Hello Cathy,
Not sure if you already received an answer, but if you answer a call on the
watch and want to switch it back to the iPhone, just take your iPhone and find
the "Call in progress" indicator at the top left. It's sort of underneath the
status bar and above your top left home screen
