Hello, To achieve the results you want launch the Watch App on your iPhone. Go into Display and Brightness. Ensure that Wake on Wrist Raise Is turned off. Now exit this screen and go to Accessibility. Choose VoiceOver and make sure Speak on Wrist Raise Is turned off too. Hope this helps.

So, Bill, using voice control, can be done. If your friend turns on voice control, she can tell voice control to go left go right or tap that and it will activate whatever the cursor is on. I have a friend that is currently using this right now to navigate his phone until he gets comfortable

I am sure some will disagree, but e-Speak to me sounds horrible and it's definitely not a natural sounding voice,. In any case, you are stuck with what Apple offers and in iOS 17 there are to my knowledge no new voices. There is still Eloquence and all the others like Ava, Samantha, Tom etc.

First of all, after an update there might be stuff going on in the background for a day or two which may make it seem like more battery is used and the heat thing could very well be connected. Secondly, have you turned off your device for a few minutes after the update and then powered it on
