I am noticing the same thing. I really miss the email counter when you're reading the unread messages and read messages when there's a multi message thread. Also starting in 8.4, the songs position in a playlist are no longer spoken as you scroll the playlist or any other list for that matter.

I just did a back up of my iPad preparatory to installing iOS 9. When I went to get the update, it told me I had purchased items which should be transferred, and did I want to continue anyway? So I canceled out and tried to find a way to get the purchased items to transfer over. I did a "sink".

iCloud backup?

Bizarre! Just now I noticed that the amount of iCloud storage i have used had suddenly dropped massively. I checked on my iPhone 5s and on my iPad Air and in settings, even though iCloud backup is turned on, each device claimed it had not been backed up for months - but I know this is untrue.
