I've been calling something like this for years unfortunately. It was only ever a research project which in turn means it can be pulled whenever they want, but (more than understandably) nobody thinks of that when they invest the days, weeks, months in learning it and often making it their default

I thought this would likely happen when Microsoft announced layoffs in October and an intention to not renew many contracts. Personally, I did not like how the app announced streets as I was crossing them instead of before I arrived at them, as other blindness navigation apps perform. Kelly
