How far away from the object is your phone? When the phone is relatively close,
the shadow cast by
the phone changes the lighting. You want to be at least a foot away.
If you have no vision, it is a good idea to work with a sighted person to learn
optimal distances
Or not. I've obviously tried all these simple suggestion with the same result.

There are several. But, none of them in my opinion are all that accurate.
Some claim accuracy, but results are inconsistent and highly dependent on
uniform lighting.
