I've used a demo unit for a while and it will get rather warm. It stops getting warm once it is fully charged. I would not leave it plugged in over night in case it actually is getting too warm and perhaps over heat to a dangerous level. It should only take about 2 to 4 hours to fully charge I

I also used a demo unit at one point to check it out. I think it took about 3 hours as Richard said to charge. I did leave it overnight at one time to charge, and it was fine. However, I wouldn't recommend doing that on a regular basis for the reason you mentioned in your original message. For the
