Has anyone who has jail broken there phone tried this app yet? Would be

yes, purchasing a license is the very first thing I did. in the settings, it
shows my license status as active.

I don't have the app, but I have used Jailbreak keyboards before. Have you
selected the octopus keyboard in the ios settings app? If not, go
Settings/General.
