Hi again!
Actually not. If you double tap the text field in iMessage and
raise the phone to your ear you'll hear the sound and you can
begin to talk. The moment you take your device down the audio
iMessage will be sent. If you have your device unlocked and
Thank you very much, I have been trying to figure that out for a long time!
Since that setting has to do with messages received, I never considered it.
Thanks again,

No, but I did send a email explaining everything back when I started having the
problem in iOS 8.
I will give them a call and talk to a live person to see what they say.
Thanks,

Hi,
Unfortunately, I have no idea why this would happen. Have you tried calling
Apple Accessibility?

Hello Anna,
I have been having trouble writing text messages with the on screen braille
keyboard since iOS 8, and I have not found a solution yet.
Now, I will say that I do not have trouble with the on screen braille keyboard
anywhere else, just in the messages app. This is what happens.

Hi Bob,
Make sure Handwriting isn't on. You should be able to have both on, but if
you're not using it, maybe getting it out of the way will help. Go to
Settings/General/Accessibility/VoiceOver/Rotor, and make sure Handwriting isn't
selected.
Also, make sure you're in the message body, not
Hello all,
I have an issue when trying to compose an iMessage when attempting to use
braille screen input.
After I select the recipient of my iMessage, I go to the body and use the rotor
to move to braille screen input.
My phone says braille screen input, and I need to change to landscape to

and don't get the characters I intended. A good example is the to field of a

If you use contracted Braille Screen Input then VO will not speak any
characters. As I understand it the word is held in some kind of buffer
set by the translator. The buffer is then released when you do a space
or newline. If you set it to Six Dot with a three finger swipe to the

Hi.
On the same topic, how do you insert a new line? I can't for the life of me
figure it out. LOL. Thanks much.

It is a two finger swipe to the right I think.

Guys, I have a curious question and not sure how to fix it , if it's a bug or
what. I'm running an iPhone 5S, with IOS 8.1.1 and Saturday I had my phone, was
about to respond to a message, the phone went wonky for a minute, like it got
confused ( I was in the middle of nowhere with hardly no
Did this just start happening Saturday?
If it did I could be wrong but it is probably a bug.

Have you tryed removing the braille screen input from the rotor and adding it
back?
To do this go to settings general accessibility voiceover rotor and then choose
braille screen input.
Same steps apply when re adding the option back.

You've probably already tried this but have you tried clearing apps out
of the App Switcher? What about shutting down and restarting your iPhone?
