matter what. Am I wrong about that? If so I’m gonna have to end up doing the

A birthday list in a third app would only transfer if the app backs up either
to iCloud or their own servers.

Exactly, whatever the "Calls From" button says is what is selected and the
options are Everyone, No One, Favorites or All Contacts.
Then also check if repeated calls
not
much reason to have this one turned on and scammers often get wise to these
tricks since they are not stupid.

You can still have calls from favourites get through. Go into the focus
settings and into the do not disturb. Next, flick right until you come to the
allow people button. Double tap on that. Flick
