My wife got a new vehicle. I tried to connect my iPod Touch 6th Gen via
bluetooth and the strange thing is that voiceover goes dead i.e. it is not
carried over to the car radio as is in the case with my other vehicle. It is
also silent on the iPod. My iPod has IOS12 installed which

Just wondered if I need the tune in radio app installed on my phone.
Have you actually got Siri to play radio stations on your phone or Homepod?

I was browsing the web the other day and thought I saw mention that IOS
13 for the Homepod brought with it access to radio stations like tune in
radio etc.
I have just acquired a Homepod and thought I would see if I could access
mainstream radio stations but without any success

I have the same issues with the Siri commands to play local radio stations. All
though I live in the middle of nowhere in Montana. So, the radio stations may
or may not be online anymore.

Well, Ed, I have noticed the same thing. This last time when I went into the
radio section and found broadcast radio, and theall button said adjustable
index, I am mediately double tapped and moved my finger. Nothing was announced.
But all of a sudden, there were broader category choices
that we aren’t supposed to be seeing.
