RE: Update Problem Bug I Can't Fix

2019-11-15 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
I haven’t seen this bug since 13.1.3, others said they still had it but it
would appear that 13.2 certainly fixed it for most.
If Carla is running 13.0.3 she really needs to update to the latest 13.2.2
release.

This is the first real bug I've ever dealt with. I'm using the latest update
which is 13.03 or something like that. Anyway when I end a call I lose speech
and everything on my phone goes blank and it takes me forever to be able to
shut down and reboot. Is there a work around until a new update comes out with

Thanks for any help you can give if there is any to give.

Hello,

Have you tried toggling VoiceOver off and back on again with either using Siri
or with the accessibility short cut? This should resolve the voiceover not
speaking issue.

I hope this helps.

2019-11-15 Thread R Van Lant
I still have this issue on my 6S running 13.2.2., but simply doing the triple
click of the home button to toggle VoiceOver off then back on fixes it.

Subject: Update Problem Bug I Can't Fix

This is the first real bug I've ever dealt with. I'm using the latest update
which is 13.03 or something like that. Anyway when I end a call I lose speech
and everything on my phone goes blank and it takes me forever to be able to
shut down and reboot. Is there a work around until a new update comes out with
the fix? I really can't handle this one and I am technology challenged.
Thanks for any help you can give if there is any to give.

Carla

Re: Update Problem Bug I Can't Fix

2019-11-15 Thread Ed Worrell
Hello,

Have you tried toggling VoiceOver off and back on again with either using Siri
or with the accessibility short cut? This should resolve the voiceover not
speaking issue.

I hope this helps.

Just ddouble tap anywhere, the language doesn't matter, it simply displays
the Hello message in a number of languages which cycle around, this has
nothing to do with the language your iPhone uses. If you doble tap on the
messagee when it's in German it will still come up in English or at least
go to a screen where you can select your country and language.

RE: iPhone 6S update problem question

2016-11-04 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Just ddouble tap anywhere, the language doesn't matter, it simply displays the
Hello message in a number of languages which cycle around, this has nothing to
do with the language your iPhone uses. If you doble tap on the messagee when
it's in German it will still come up in English or at least go to a screen
where you can select your country and language.

Sieghard

Re: Twitterrific Update Problem

2015-11-10 Thread Tom Lange
Well, it looks like the hard reset did the trick. I downloaded it over cellular
and it came down surprisingly fast, and, better still (I think), it got put
back into my Social folder. So now it's time for a test drive. Thanks, pal. I
owe you one.

Re: Twitterrific Update Problem

2015-11-10 Thread Feliciano Godoy
Glad you got it working. When something is just not acting right, the hard
reset usually does the trick. If that doesn't do the trick, resetting the
device to factory settings should be the last resort. Your device may actually
perform better than before.

Feliciano

Re: Twitterrific Update Problem

2015-11-10 Thread Tom Lange
Greetings and felicitations, Feliciano,
I tried the update using both cellular and wi-fi, but that was before I posted
my query here. I'll try the hard reset and see what happens; that may be just
the thing I need to shake things loose. I'll let you know what happens.
Best regards
Tom

Twitterrific Update Problem

2015-11-09 Thread Tom Lange
Hi folks,
Recently, I found a Twitterrific update in the app store and double-tapped the
Update button. The update stalled somewhere during the process and it stayed
that way for days, it seems. Finally I decided to remove the app completely. I
went back to the app store, brought up the list of apps that were not on my
iPhone, found Twitterrific and started the download. The download stalled
again, and I have no idea how far along the download proceeded, nor can I find
the app anywhere on my home screens. When I return to the app store and again
locate the items which aren't on my phone, Twitterriffic is there, and next to
it is a Cancel Download button.
So, what gives with this thing, and why is it being so difficult when I have no
other problems, at least that I'm aware of, updating apps? Any thoughts on
this? Looks like I might have to hook the phone up to iTunes and my computer
and do it that way but, frankly, I try to avoid iTunes as much as possible
because I dislike it intensely.

Hello Everyone,

I have read all of the comments on this problem and have noticed that some
people are saying that in iOS 7.12 they have the Camera set to on from
within the Privacy Settings.

As far as I can tell, unlike in iOS 8.x and above, there is no separate
Camera entry item from within the Privacy Settings area.

The only place I see in this area that mentions the Camera is located in the
Location area. This area has nothing to do with granting rights to the
Camera from a third-party app but merely permits the Camera to imbed
location meta-data into photos and videos. If I am missing something here,
please let me know.

Finally, is there a direct email address through which one can contact
LookTel?

Thank you,

Mark

Hi guys, I have noticed after updating to IOS 7. My iPhone4 handset is

Could this Issue be due to the update or something else.

Subject: Solution to my IOS update problem of icons sayin Wifi

Hi,
Thanks to a really smart guy from Speed Dots, I tried labeling one of the
elements that was saying Wifi.

Just to summarize, the problem started happening after the latest IOS
release, anything I touched after focus had been in the dock, as well as the
icon showing what home page I was on, plus many controls in numerous apps
announced Wifi before the correct item.
I was told to try a 2-finger double tap hold and to my surprise, the edit
box contained the word Wifi. However, deleting the characters did no good
and I tried it several times. My next idea was replacing it with a space and
this did the trick.

 Hi all:
Started update over the air with iPhone plugged in with charger. Went to 96%

without saying downloading or anything. I am assuming I received this
message because of the volume trying to update, but there is nothing to tell
me it is downloading. Just leave it alone?
