The little virtual assistive touch button can be placed anywhere on the screen. IN my case, I have it between the second and third app in the dock. That way I can reach it without issues be it with my right or left hand. That's just me though. You can place it on the right edge of the phone,

No issue here on my 6S Plus, also not something I remember being brought up before on the list. Are you sure you don't have a Bluetooth headset somewhere which is on so that maybe the call goes to that although one would assume that then you also don't hear Voiceover. I would try a reboot

Probably not possible at this stage. Non complex documents should be fine, but anything else a computer is still geeded. Personally I use Pages on both iOS and macOS, however I do not deal with complex documents, documents with lots of tables etc etc. Plus you have the issue of editing files
