Hello everyone,
Today I got to look at a friend's iPhone XS. I found it to be rather
interesting, and different. But I also found it to be rather frustrating.
I did not know that now you either have to use a passcode, or face ID. I
honestly feel it should be your personal choice rather or
You could try uninstalling the app and reinstalling and see if that helps any.

Hi Terri,
You can still completely disable passcode and Face Id if you want.
I think people who own any of the X phones without a home button get used to
the gestures to get out of an app and to bring up the app switcher pretty
quickly.
I will have my 6S Plus for at least another year and
has anybody on this list got hearing aids that work with the evoke app? if so

The little virtual assistive touch button can be placed anywhere on the screen.
IN my case, I have it between the second and third app in the dock. That way I
can reach it without issues be it with my right or left hand.
That's just me though. You can place it on the right edge of the phone,
Janet, if you still have trouble with the home gesture, if you have a
bluetooth keyboard pared up to your phone you could do it on the keyboard.

No issue here on my 6S Plus, also not something I remember being brought up
before on the list.
Are you sure you don't have a Bluetooth headset somewhere which is on so that
maybe the call goes to that although one would assume that then you also don't
hear Voiceover.
I would try a reboot
Hi. All.
Can I put the AssistiveTouch menu from the bottom of the screen to T top of the

I have only very recently discovered the voice dream writer app and it does
make editing text so much easier than using pages or notes. I have no need to
do anything complex like tables or footnotes. But it is great not to have to

I have noticed since IOS 12 that often I will get an incoming
call. When I do a 2 finger double tap to answer it it seems to
answer but I hear nothing. After a half minute or so the call
hangs up.
I looked through the settings and can't find

Sometimes you just have to wonder. We have a lot of neat techie things, but

Probably not possible at this stage. Non complex documents should be fine, but
anything else a computer is still geeded. Personally I use Pages on both iOS
and macOS, however I do not deal with complex documents, documents with lots of
tables etc etc. Plus you have the issue of editing files
Hello,
I had an appointment with Genius Bar to fix my phone. Now I notice that
voiceover has a different voice. I want to know how many voices are there, and
how can I change to the voice I had before. My iPhone is 6S.

Is it perhaps under Settings, General, Accessibility, VoiceOver? I know I have

You use whatever iPhone you decide you want, as most who have and use Face Id
will attest it works very well and will probably be even further improved in
future phones. Your SE is probably good for at least another year or two, maybe
you need to get a new battery at some point, but that can
Hi,
Yes, in VoiceOver Settings is an option called Speech, and in there you can
change your phone's default voice and also set up voices in other languages or
dialects that you can switch to on the rotor.

Hi Caorlyn,
All iPhones still come with wired headphones. On the newer phones, they're just
like your AirPods except they end in a lightning connector instead of the
standard headphone jack.
