The maker of StarplayrX is Todd Bruss and on his web site, it says they are
working on a whole new Mac version ... nothing about iOS, but the app is not
showing up in the app store for me either. Though, my copy is now working just
fine.
I even checked in the app store

however, I'm subscribed in digest mode and I forgot to change the subject line

button to take photos. At the time, this was unique. Apple pulled it from the

Interesting idea for an app. I can’t seem to get it to recognize anything… I
gave it camera access.
I assume there is no interface to the app except for the start up dialog.
