First, are you looking at the cloud, or what is on your device.
Select device, then double tap on the delete button, then a new delete from 
Device button will appear before the name of the books on your device.
Double tap the one before the title you want to delete, and then repeat that 
move since it needs confirmation.
If the book you delete is the last one on your device you will get a message to 
tap on the cloud to see other books.

Hi all, I talked to audible yesterday and they help me install the updated app. 
However there are still some problems, if your books disappear, you can do a 
search and it will show your book and then if you want you can download it or 
read it. I discovered that one. As I get more info I promise I will let you all 
know.

I’m still annoyed that I can’t delete from my device at will. It isn’t a 
storage issue here it’s just the principle of the thing. It’s sure dampening my

Welcome to the Audible disaster, it’s good another voice has joined many 
others, the Audible update is truly bad, unfortunately I read about it after 
upgrading (it was discussed quite a bit a few days ago when the first update 
came out). Another update a day or two later hasn’t fixed much and while I am 
using the app to listen, deleting books it currently out and a few books I had 
downloaded seem to be gone, fortunately in my case not all of them. I was 
hoping Amazon would fix this in short order, but if it isn’t fixed this week 
I’ll probably delete the app and put the old one back which I still have in 
iTunes. I was seriously considering cancelling my membership for a few months 
and letting them know that I am doing so because of this disaster upgrade. One 
would think they test these apps and also have beta testers, but I assume this 
is another case where some higher ups set out a time table and then stuff is 
released which shouldn’t be.

the current version present on the App Store now, the average rating is 1.5 
stars. I can't imagine what's going on with the Audible developers, but it's

I can also confirm that with version 2.5.1 I observed the refreshing screen
