iPhoto prefs and taken out the app. Now I can open the Flash card icon
and simply drag the files to my HD, where I can access them via File

That works for CDs but not for Card Readers.

Odd... I transfer my digital photos onto my PowerBook with a PCMCIA
Compact Flash card reader. Until I changed that preference, iPhoto
would open up whenever I put the adaptor/reader into the PCMCIA slot.

I have recently started using iMovie and have completed 2 projects so

I believe it is possible to copy an existing DVD using something in OSX
10.3 Utilities.

i'm using charismac discribe as cd/dvd burn utility, has a direct
cd/dvd copy feature, can work with single drive systems, reads the lot
into hd as image after eject ask for an empty disk holds image
untill you go back to main menue, so you can make multiple copies very
