curious about the Belkin phone adapter, as a friend has a Belkin router is
with iinet VOIP has drop outs lousy phone service, another friend has the

I have been receiving popups asking to download the latest version 5.0.1 of
Firefox.
Not sure so thought I would ask if anyone has done so and how is it going?
Im presently using version 4.0.1 and it is much more stable than the early
version of 4 or of 3.

In my quest to stabilise my mac I've been running a program (Checkup) which
warns that input manager has been detected on my mac and is no longer supported
by Apple, and that I should remove it. Unfortunately it doesn't tell me where
it is!

I don't know what the current update does but from experience I recommend
that you do a back-up before updating. Twice now all my bookmarks have been
wiped some how during the update process.

I've been getting the same pop-ups - I was going to try 5.0.1 but, at the
first step, I got a dialog warning that it was not compatible with some of
my add-ons - since one of these was the 1Password extension, that made it a
no-go for me.
I'm happy to wait.
