to download the 9 updates for them one at a time otherwise it fails to install
any of them at the end of the downloading phase and the download has to start
from scratch. I eventually got them

Scanning old BW negatives can be easily done without expensive
scanners, I saw a demonstration of this a few years ago at a WAGS
computer group meeting and the results were impressive. It consisted
of a standard type scanner and software and a wooden box painted white
inside with a light
Its got me beat at this stage, I will have to wait until I get back to
Perth some time next month to follow it up with the domain namr people

globe inside, masking it to suit the size of the negative and sitting
it on top of a scanner and It worked a treat. I cant remember the
finer details so you may have to experiment a bit with the power of

I have been converting some family videos from VCR to iMovie the to
iDVD, the color is very red in some of them (Copies of copies I think
is the cause), it appears that I can't do anything about it in iMovie

I just installed my G5 iMac (Maxed out on Ram and HD,) everything
works great except that neither private or commercial DVDs' wont
mount however, the System DVDs' do. When you put one in there is a
few of the usual sounds from the drive but nothing happens until it
eventually spits it

Macs accepted it and others did Not.
I suggest you check Hard drive driver version and firmware versions
and compare
what is on the various Macs.
Careful... they may actually need different Firmware versions.
