I've had an odd problem with my new iPad2 over recent days - weirdly the thing
started to do things by itself, like open the mail app, start typing out email
addresses, consistently using the letters V, T and F and lots of spaces.
Others apps started to behave strangely as well. All
i have real player installed which gives me the realplayer downloader, it
automatically starts when a youtube video is clicked lets you download the
movie, with adaptor.app i extract the sound into a preselected format, all for
free...

I have the latest version of MS for Mac 2011 and also Parallels; however I
decided to open the PowerPoint slide show in Keynote.

We are in Paris. I have been trying to use my iPhone. It has been hard as
the so-called wi-fi internet at the apartment is an ibook with a 3G modem in

The WAMUG mailing list seems to be working smoothly. The Digest is a welcome
relief for me; my thanks to Matt for that.
One suggestion: Visible separators for the Digest letters, eg lines.

Firewall? Can I preconfigure it? The machine I am tweaking is via BackToMyMac
