Favorite things in 15 years

2006-11-08 Thread Debbie Caruso
Hi Fellow Mayberrians, I really can't remember how long I have been with the digest, maybe about 5 years? It has been great and I look forward to it everyday. I think my favorite thing is when people ( I am one of them) write in about thier Mayberry moments. I have them often and I love

You're right LLH-DSC-GTWE

2006-11-08 Thread GRITTON, JOE A (SBC-OPS)
but, the one I was talking about was the epilogue showing Andy coming in on Barney at Thel's house and, yes, they were drinking coffee but also doing a little smooching because Barney's face is covered with Thelma Lou's kisses. To tell the honest truth, I can't be sure of the show. I think it's

Court House Window Sill Boxes

2006-11-08 Thread Tim Bradshaw
Hey, saw your message. I have pondered over this a lot too! It is one of the interesting aspects of the set design. Just a guess, but I think the boxes were added to just dress up the set and keep the windows from being so noticeable. They sure do a mighty good job of simulating sunlight

Mayopoly

2006-11-08 Thread Kim
I was thinking about what Shy Mary Grace said about a Mayberry Monopoly board and the tokens that could be used. Hows about: car = squad car, iron = Aunt Bee holding an iron, dog = jimmy the loaded goat (or a selfish giraffe), horse rider = Barney on his motorcycle, shoe = Andy's badge, Top

Name that episode.

Hi Mayberrians! Someone please tell me that name of that episode where Bee had apparently met herself a fella. She had on her cute false eyelashes and looked so cute. That was the first time I ever saw her all gussied up. I just recalled glancing at the episode once, and I saw Aunt Bee all

Tenor soloist

2006-11-08 Thread Janet Anderson
We still haven't found a Tenor soloist, so if you know of anybody let me know and I can audition them. Well, the other day I had a blowout on my car. Fortunately, I wasn't far from the filling station, and Gomer ambled over and changed the tire for me. I found out that boy has a habit of
