closeup photo of the original Mayberry courthouse plaques which are on
display in the Andy Griffith Museum in Mt. Airy? Is photography generally
permitted in the Museum?

Photos are NOT allowed in the museum any more. Seems someone took photos of
articles, printed them into larger photos and was selling them, so no more
photos! Only takes one to spoil the whole bunch!

Allan, I think your idea of a blog to enable Tom to share his knowledge of
character actors with the world is an excellent idea! Tom's efforts to
reconcile with digest members and your efforts to set up a blog for him seem to
have resolved the problems of the past, and I hope we as Mayberry
Jess and Mayor Stoner were once treed by an angry animal which had bear feet.

I was watching a sort of history of coffee on the Food network this
weekend. They showed some scenes from various shows including a Sanka
commercial starring Gomer Pyle and Sgt Carter. Also there was a Sanka
commercial starring the lady named Cora (from the cookbook that was
discussed a while
On an episode of Bonanza,which aired Memorial Day,I spotted two TAGS actors.One
was the actor who portrayed the jinx,Henry Bennett,and the other was a
whiskerless,very young Denver Pyle(Briscoe).
On a sad note,a Mt. Airy National Guardsman lost his life in Baghdad.Kinda like
one of our own
