Quoting Everett Greenbaum (the co-writer of the episode The Bank Job,) There
was no actual movie G Men with Glenn Ford, admits Everett. Barney was the

In the book Mayberry 101, p97, Everett Greenbaum talks about this:

Hi Gang!!!
To another Mike here in Indiana, your rumor is just that, a rumor. Several
years ago I interviewed Elinor Donahue and one of the questions I asked her was
about her leaving the show. Basically it was because she had just come off of
the Father Knows Best series and wanted to take
Pretty much the whole town had to forgive each other after the case of the
punch in the nose. Floyd and Charley Foley forgave each other in almost
the same way as they had years prior.
Also everyone forgave Barney for locking them up. When they feared he
might be let go, they locked themselves

IMBD with Glenn nor under that title. Does anyone know what this refers to?
Could it have been another Glenn Ford
Hi Greg,
Thanks for noting these two wonderful crossover characters. I'd recently

Sprague was much taken with her. Thanks for jiggling my
Glen Ford has the right to go Glen Fording it all over town.I caught a clip
on Encore Westerns about him and they stated that he could draw/shoot in 4/10s
of a second, making him one of fastest draws in Hollywood. Barney would be
proud.
